Social Link

Social Link is a Students Union club at the university of calgary.

During my undergraduate degree I began Social Link. The club on campus taught students how to code and create their own professional websites, social media pages and LinkedIn site. The club participated in yearly bottle drives and raised hundreds of dollars for the Calgary Drop-In Center. I hope to run this event again to help others in need. We also hosted tutorial workshops to start your own website on Wix. During Covid-19 many of the club members graduated and I continued the club on into my graduate degree. We closed the club due to low membership and interest in late 2021. I am greatful for the University of Calgary and the Students Union for allowing me to participate on campus with my own club.
